My next  fight was confirmed this morning by the promoter of MMA Costarica, i will fight again  in San Jose on december 19th.My opponent should be Salgado or Gonzalez,i will know that before wednesday.I will fight for the main event of this cage fighting show.

Also, next sunday (dec 14th), i will participate at the International Grappling GI tournanent in San Jose and i will organize 3 seminars of MMA and JUDO bitween monday dec 8th and wednesday dec 17th.

After my performance yesterday night at FITENITE (Crfights),the promoter of MMA Costa Rica proposed me a fight against Wady Salgado a good kick boxer with a MMA pro record of 5W and only 1L or Leonardo Gonzalez ,the olympian wrestler who beat Sebastien Garguier last weekend.I will know everything about my fight pretty soon.I will let you know.

Fitenite did a great show tonight with some good fighters from USA (American top team),Brazil (Machado,a BJJ black belt),Panama (Gonzalez,panamerican champion of greco and olympian),Canada,Mexico,Costa Rica etc....

Sebastien Garguier my french friend lost against the olympian wrestler  (Gonzalez)by unanimous decision (29-28).Gonzalez didn't want to do any stand up so he put the fight on the ground with some great takedowns.On the ground,Seb tried to submit him but physically he wasn't able to do the right thing cause Gonzalez was too strong.He won the first round but lost the 2 last one.It was a good experience for him and for sure he will win his next one....

I won my fight against Alejandro "Mandarina" Solano,the local heroe by unanimous decision (30-27).He was a tough and brave opponent, who fought until the last second of the fight....Everybody was supporting him,but i stayed focused on my fight and did exactly what i had to do.I controled the fight on stand up and took him down with differents judo technics and controled him on the ground where unfortunally i couldn't finish him with a submission or GnP.

The show was on live at http://www.crfights.com/ but many people couldn't watch the fight in France...I m really sorry about that but the promoter told me tonight that he is going to make a DVD this week . I will add the video of the fight asap....Thanx to be understanding....

By the way, Antony Albanese,the promoter of Fitenite wants to speak with me tomorrow about a potential  fight on december 19th in San Jose again.The show will be on cage and will be on live at http://www.crfights.com/ . I will let you know what is going on tomorrow after the meeting.

FITE NITE Successfull MMA and Boxing Event!  (http://www.crfights.com/)

Last Friday, December 5th at 8pm E.T. One hour before the MMA and Boxing FITE NITE Event started at Villa Olimpica, we could see a lot of the MMA and Boxing fans already sat and ready to watch this great extreme sport athletes battle against each other.

As the first fights warmed up the night with some fast MMA encounters full of technique and adrenaline, we got to the so awaited MMA Fight of the night: “Mandarina” against the french fighter: Kheder. Among the fans cheers and all the excitement, the costarrican MMA fighter gave the best he could against the french. We could hear a lot of “last minute coaches” (passionate fans!) trying to cheer up Mandarina, who lost it, but in a very good battle of mixed martial arts techniques.

After all this adrenaline explosion we witness the classic boxing match. Aranda (el Maestro) against the mexican: Robert Garcia. Garcia entered the ring with a very calm attitude and his religious amulets. The famous costarrican boxer was very fast avoiding Garcia’s strong punches. No doubt that both showed the best of themselves, but later, as the rounds when on and on, we watched a more exhausted Aranda, no wonder why! It was a very strong fight, a very good one and full of anxiety and emotion.

Definitely FITE NITE has the ultimate and best MMA and Boxing Entertainment to an audience that ranges from amateurs to professionals who practice some of this Martial Arts disciplines. And we are sure that each one who witnessed Dec 5th event will return to the next FITE NITE MMA and Boxing Show!

Today (wednesday dec 3rd),Aranda Humberto , Robert Garcia,who fought 2 times for IBF world title,Alejandro Solano (one of the best panamerican fighter) and I went to the pre fight press conference in San Jose.Some radios and TV were over there and were really interested by Boxing and MMA.The conference is going to be on TV at Channel 7 (CR) .My opponent with a pro record of 8W and 3L by decision said he is a nice guy outside the ring but friday he would be different and will try to finish the fight by KO or submission and would like to be the first fighter to beat me before the limit....I just told him "Good luck" ;)  cause i don't like to speak too much before the fight and prefer to do my job as good is possible inside the ring.....Get ready to watch a great fight on Fitenite on friday dec 5th at: http://www.crfights.com/ (the show is starting at 8PM in CR)

After a long and safe trip we arrived yesterday night in Costa Rica where Anthony Albanese(the promoter) was sending his partner David Fernandez,an international judoka who fought in Athenes at the olympic games in 2004 to pick us up...It always nice for me to meet great judoka from different countries.Then when we went to the hotel,David told me Kenia Rodriguez an international judoka from Cuba who fought in olympic games in Sydney was  in San Jose too.We went to visit her...It was so nice to meet all these people ...... The world is small !!!!!

 Today,we did the pre fight video (interview,shadow etc.....) and then we went back to the hotel to have some rest.Tomorrow we gonna start some training with the guys from San Jose to get ready to make the weight on thursday and to fight on friday !!!!

Sebastien (Garguier) and i are getting ready to fight in san Jose (Costa Rica) on december 5th .After a couple of weeks of grappling and MMA,we have finished the preparation with some boxing sessions with pro boxer this week.Today (thursday nov 27th),we gonna take a day off before to fly to Costa Rica tomorrow.We gonna try to train lightly over there to control the weight and be in shape for the fight......

After my fight in Costa Rica, i m  going to Japan in Tokyo to train in MMA a couple of weeks at Yoshida Dojo with Yoshida,Takimoto,Omigawa,Chonan etc.....I will try to do some judo too at the different universities in Tokyo....

I will go to see the Dynamite on december 31st and the SengoKu on january 4th where i'm already invited .I will let you know more info after my fight....

I was in Las Vegas last weekend to support my team mates ,Joe Stevenson and Aaron Riley at UFC 91.A lot of guys from Coba Kai were on the show to support them ...Aaron won his fight by unanimus decision and got the "fight of the night' and Joe lost by RNC on the 1st round.

Yesterday,Robert Drysdale was in Victorville to do a seminar and promote Joe Stevenson .Finally,after many years of practice,Joe got his black belt of BJJ.All his team mates from Cobra kai,Irvin (coach),Dr ron Tripp (president of USA judo federation) and a lot of judo and BJJ Black belt came to the gym in Victorville to attend at this event....

I won't fight in Mexico and palm Spring,where i was supposed to fight but i will fight in Costa Rica for the main event of FITE NITE in Costa Rica against Alejandro Solano under 170 lbs (more info : http://www.crfights.com/).

Jess lost by decision,but one more time he did a good and exciting fight.Jess knocked down Bielkheden on the first round and did many great things on the ground before to finish the fight with a beautiful take down .The fight was really closed and Jess can be proud of him.By the way,Dana White ,who liked his fight,has confirmed to Jess that he is still in contract with UFC and he gonna fight pretty soon again.

I won my fight yesterday against Vince Guzman (Elite XC veteran) by submission (Rear naked Choke) on the second round of the main event.I will give you more details soon.

I made the weight at 5 PM at the Spotlight 29 Casino in Indio .My weight was 173 lbs (78,5kg).I m getting ready to fight tomorrow ,the show will start at 6h30 PM.

I will fight next thursday in Palm Spring (CA) against Vince Guzman under 176 lbs (79,5kg).I will be there with 3 friends on my corner,my coach Irvin Bounds and my 2 team mates Joe Daddy Stevenson and Jess the Joker Liaudin .

Jess the Joker Liaudin is getting ready to fight in UFC 89 on october 18th in Birmingham under 155 lbs (70 kg) against David Bielkheden.His weight is around 168 lbs right now,and his training is going well.

Joe Daddy Stevenson was starting his training camp last monday to fight on november 15th in Las Vegas against keny Florian.On the same card,Aaron Riley  should be fighting too.

Some other guys from Cobra Kai (CA) are going to fight soon  in differents organisations.

I will fight on october 9th in Apocalypse fight in Palm Spring and probably on november 12th in Mexico city .

Our BJJ coach,Marcelo Lapela is going back to Brazil this week ,all the guys from Cobra Kai gonna miss him.He was a great teacher for everybody.

I made the weight (170) on thursday night but on friday my opponent didnt show up. The promoter was sorry and he told me that he would like to put me on the 2 next Gladiator Challenge on september 20th and october 27th.We will see......
